Webworkorders.com was created to save property owners and managers
a lot of money from their operations.
One example of these savings is from a real user and is described
below. Their name has been changed to protect their identity.
Property Management Inc.contracts its turnover renovations (Apartment
fit ups) to a construction contractor.
Some prices have been tendered and standardized and some not.
When Property Management Inc. began using Webworkorders.com they
began finding many errors in the contractors billings.
These errors for the most part were overcharges, which were not
identified before using Webworkorders.com.
These overcharges would also have amounted to significant losses
for the property in the long term if webworkorders.com did not
stop them.
Below are the scanned images of the webworkorders estimation sheets
and the corresponding contractor's invoice sheet.
The webworkorders estimation sheets show the correct amount that
should have been charged by the contractor.
On the contractor's invoice, the circled amounts are the items
which the contractor has made a mistake on.
In invoice #1, the contractor overcharged $100 because he charged
for a three bedroom paint job instead of a two.
In invoice #2, the contractor overcharged $50 on a three bedroom
paint job and $10 for painting inside the cupboards.
In invoice #3 the contractor overcharged $50 on a three bedroom
paint job and $10 for painting the ceiling.
